PAN means Permanent Account Number. Now a days PAN Card is necessary to everyone. If you want to submit Income Tax Returns you must need a PAN Card. It is also useful for your personal photo ID proof. If you want to apply PAN Card, you have to enclose your Id proof and Address proof with PAN Card application.
